What is WyoCSZone?

Our focus is to prepare the next generation in computational thinking and in the use of technology. WyoCSZone offers sessions and events in Computer Science (CS). Today all jobs require some knowledge of technology. Not only are we expected to have knowledge of technology but expanding this knowledge can also open up opportunities to become developers and creators. What is CS?

Computer Science (CS) is the study of computers and computational systems, including a number of areas such as artificial intelligence (AI); computer systems and networks; cyber security; database systems; data science; human computer interaction; vision and graphics; coding; computer forensics; bioinformatics and the theory of computing. The future workforce will need to know computational thinking, problem solving and critical thinking to determine what problems can be solved with technology.

Hands-on and interactive sessions that are engaging in computational thinking, critical thinking, and problem solving that bridges the gap between practice and theory.

Sessions are specifically geared toward Computer Science (CS) concepts such as computational thinking, coding, designing, and game-based learning.
